All four Tiger squads were in action this past weekend with some thrilling results.At home, the Open Women’s team took on Yale in the Eisenberg Cup, the Lightweight Men raced the University of Pennsylvania for the Wood-Hammond Cup with Georgetown racing as a guest, and the Lightweight Women raced Georgetown for the Class of 2006 Cup.Away from The Carnegie, the Heavyweight Men raced Harvard and MIT in Boston.
At home, the Tigers were able to retain all four cups that were at stake this past weekend.The Open Women were able to retain the Eisenberg Cup after a thrilling Varsity race, while the Tiger 3rdVarsity 8 was able to retain the Black and Brown Cup. This coming weekend will be an action packed weekend of racing on both Saturday and Sunday.On Saturday the Heavyweight Men will race Cornell and Yale for the Carnegie Cup.The Lightweight Women will race just after the men against Harvard for the Class of 1999 Cup.The Lightweight men will be up in Boston racing Harvard and Yale in the annual HYP races.
Sunday, the Open Women will be racing the University of Pennsylvania and Dartmouth.This race was rescheduled from Dartmouth to Princeton.Before the racing starts, the Lightweight men will take to the waters to race Drexel.
