Tigers Train Hard In Tampa
The entire Princeton boathouse has just completed a great week of training down in Tampa, FL. The weather cooperated for the entire trip and the teams were treated to flat water, and sunny warm days with temps in the 80's. This year, the squad started the trip off with a day of training down at Fort Desoto State Park, located on the gulf right at the mouth of Tampa Bay. The crews logged their first water time out on Bunces Pass and then spent the rest of the day out at the beach before heading into Tampa for the start of our more serious training. Once in Tampa, the teams all saw great water and the crews made some solid progress towards the spring season ahead. Video man Doug Myers joined us for the trip again this year and he has posted a great movie of our training through the first half of the week. You can find it HERE.
The Princeton boathouse would like to offer up a big Thank You to Tampa and all of the outstanding people that made our trip such an incredible experience. Denny Antram at the Tampa BH made us feel right at home and the local crews were very patient with our armada on their waters. A special thanks goes out to the Hamrick family and the Garcia family for hosting the entire Princeton boathouse for a great dinner on Friday night.
Thanks again Tampa! We are looking forward to next year!
