Princeton Chase This Weekend!

This weekend, the BH will be hosting the Princeton Chase here on Lake Carnegie.  Unlike the Charles, the Chase is exclusevly a college event and it provides each team with the opportunity to race their athletes at least twice; Once in the morning in an 8+ and again in the afternoon in a 4+.  This year's schedule is as follows: 

10:00     Heavy Men's 8+
10:30     Light Men's 8+
11:00     Women's 8+
12:00     Heavy Men's 4+
12:30     Novice Women's 8+
1:00       Freshman Men's 8+
1:30       Light Men's 4+
2:30       Small Boats (1x/ 2x/ 2-)
3:00       Women's 4+

The Princeton Chase course is 2.75 miles long.  The start of the race is the normal finish line at the Kingston end of Lake Carnegie.  The finish is just before the Washington Road bridge.  Spectators may watch the racing from the start located just off Route 27 (Nassau Street) at the Kingston end of the lake, the Harrison Street bridge or the finish at the Washington Road bridge located near the Princeton boathouse.

This weekend, all of our freshman squads will also head down to Philly on Saturday to take part in the Head of the Schuylkill.  Race time is 10:00AM and you can find full details on the Head of the Schuylkill HERE.
